Lorin Jones
Hello! My name is Ms. Jones! I am a 9th year English teacher. I got my Bachelor's in Secondary English Education at Appalachian State University in 2014, and my Master's in English with a concentration in Education from Gardner-Webb University in 2017. I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Higher Education Administration: Educational Leadership from Liberty University. I have been teaching English and English Language Arts for nine years, teaching at schools across North Carolina. This is my second year here at South Davidson and in Davidson County.

This year I am teaching a new subject, as many of you are aware! I, along with Mrs. Beam and Mr. Ellington, are going to be taking on the Psychology classes. So my schedule looks a bit different than last year!
So! In the Fall my schedule is English 4 for 1st period, Psychology for 2nd, and Honors English 4 for 3rd.
During the Spring, I have English 4 and CCRG for 1st period, Honors Psychology for 2nd, and English 1 for 4th period. During that semester, it will be easier to call me during 12:00-1:00 pm.
I am hoping to reintegrate ClassCraft this year as we had some good results with it last year, though I am working to make that a smoother process. The school is on the Remind hub so all the students have access to Remind at minimum via their school email.
