Cathi Smith

My entire career has been serving the students, schools and communities of

Davidson County. I taught mathematics at East Davidson High School for nineteen years. At Ledford High School and North Davidson High School, I served as Assistant Principal. I was the Principal of East Davidson High School for eleven years. When I retired, I became an Adjunct Professor at High Point University, where I still teach. I was honored to serve as Davidson County's Interim Director of Secondary Education for one year. 

 

Since my retirement, I have served Davidson County in many different roles at various schools. Currently, I am fortunate to be serving the teachers and students at South Davidson Middle and High School in many different roles.
