Meet Mrs. Money...

Hello! My name is Misti Money and this is my 20th year teaching. I have taught 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades & even K-8 PE.  I love working with elementary and middle school students to support them in closing academic gaps. I love getting to work with students I taught in 3rd & 4th grades, as well as new faces this year. My family enjoys being part of the South Davidson community and we feel blessed to be part of a small school with a hometown feeling. In my free time I also love to go camping, spend time with my family and make photo books!

My job here at South allows me to support classroom teachers and serve students in small groups for math interventions. We work together on mastering the concepts of foundational math, in order to help students understand the material on grade level. Together we set goals, look at growth, and have conversations about the relevance & benefits of learning math today.
