About Me!

Welcome to South Davidson Middle School! My name is Nick Sweitzer and this is my 15th year teaching. I have spent ten years teaching at the high school level and this is currently my fifth year teaching at the middle school level.  I graduated from Thomasville High School where I played football and baseball.  I have coached the following sports at the high school level: football, baseball, track, and golf.  I am currently the SDMS Head Football Coach and enjoy supporting students in other sporting events.  When I am not teaching or coaching, I enjoy working in the yard with my wife (Laura), going to Appalachian State football games with my son (Corbin), dancing to Beauty and the Beast with my daughter (Ava), golfing, and fly fishing.
