About Me!

Welcome to South Davidson Middle School! My name is Nick Sweitzer and this is my 16th year teaching. I previously spent ten years teaching high school social studies and this is currently my sixth year teaching social studies at the middle school level.  I graduated from Thomasville High School where I played football and baseball.  I have coached the following sports at the high school level: football, baseball, track, and golf.  I am currently an assistant football coach and when I am not coaching, I enjoy supporting students in extracurricular activities.  In my spare time, I enjoy working in the yard with my wife (Laura), going to Appalachian State football games with my son (Corbin), dancing to Beauty and the Beast with my daughter (Ava), golfing, and fly fishing.
