About me: This is my first year at South Davidson High School, teaching a variety of classes in the field of social studies. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, and have lived in Davidson County for twenty years. I believe that to truly engage with students in the classroom, you have to be more than just factual; you have to at least try to be entertaining. Entertained students pay attention, and students who are paying attention are almost guaranteed to learn something. I love what I teach, and I hope that my enthusiasm for these subjects gets students interested and engaged with the material.
