About Me

 

I am from Rockwell, North Carolina. I graduated from South Rowan High School. I spent my first two years of college at Warren Wilson College in Swannanoa, North Carolina. I then moved back home and attended Rowan Cabarrus Community College off and on and eventually received a Certificate in Accounting and in Micro-Computer Programming and an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I began working at Thomasville High School in 1997 as the Executive Secretary/Treasurer and decided that I should finish school. I enrolled in High Point University and in 2003 I earned my BA in Business Administration. I became a lateral entry Business Teacher at Thomasville High School in the Fall of 2003. I completed my Business/Marketing Education coursework at North Carolina State University. I retired from Thomasville High School in 2018. In the spring of 2020, I was hired as an interim Business Teacher here at South Davidson High School. Now I am a Business Teacher and SkillsUSA Advisor.

 

I have two adorable pups...Thad a Black Lab Mix and Jenny a German Shepherd puppy.
