Summer Reading Challenge 

2024

 

Let’s encourage students to READ for FUN! All SDMHS students and staff in grades 6-8 will receive a copy of Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan. As students read, they will have challenges of where and how to read. Additionally, students will be encouraged to set a reading goal for the 2024-2025 school year. Families will be encouraged to read the selected book together while creating protected family reading time each day.  

 

What: Summer Reading 2024

 

When: Kick Off - in school on May 31st, 2024 (reading Chapter 1); June, July, August

 

Book: Counting by 7s by Holly Goldberg Sloan

 

Objective: Read at least 20 minutes a day #wildcatsread  #reading20matters
